Barts Health Annual R&D Report

Each year, to demonstrate delivery to the Trust's high-level objective to deliver better research and education, an Annual Report is produced that has been presented to the Trust Board.

These reports reflect delivery within the Financial Year, April to March, and are usually signed off by the Trust Board in early Autumn.

The reports give an indication of overall research performance at Barts Health, measures to mitigate any adverse impacts and recruitment to NIHR portfolio studies. They also include data on the Trust’s research income, including commercial research income, plus updates on research facilities, research engagement activity, and some examples of where the Trust’s research programmes are producing improved outcomes for patients.
