The Research Engagement Team sits within the JRMO. Its aim is to improve patient and public engagement, involvement and participation in research across the Trust.
What we do
There are many aspects to research, but central to all of our studies is the Research Engagement team which works with researchers, patients and the public to support public engagement, participation and involvement in our research.
The team provide a wide range of services and support from advising individual researchers and research teams on their plans for involving patients and members of the public in their research and supporting the development of grant applications, to running events to raise awareness about the wide range of research conducted within our hospitals.
The team is also a central point of contact for patients and members of the public interested in participating or getting involved in research. It also sends information out directly to local people who have expressed their interest in getting involved.
All members of the public are welcome to sign up to our mailing list, especially those living in the areas we serve across east London, by emailing email@example.com - or Tweet us at @BartsHealthResearch
If you have any questions about public involvement or would like to learn more about how we can support you with your public involvement activities, please contact the team:
