Technology transfer

Technology transfer is the process of commercially developing innovations. We provide technology transfer services, which include invention disclosure management, patent strategy and access to developmental funding, intellectual property licensing and formation of spin-out companies.

Do you have an idea?

If you have an idea or innovation that might have commercial potential, please contact Dr Natasa Levicar (n.levicar@qmul.ac.uk or 020 7882 3792) who can supply you with an Innovation Disclosure Form.

A technology transfer manager will arrange a meeting to discuss intellectual property protection and opportunities for commercialisation.

They will conduct due diligence into the market opportunity and evaluate the idea according to revenue potential and probability of success.

You will receive written confirmation with the possible options within 3-4 weeks of submitting your Innovation Disclosure Form.
